Nicholas HANDOLL

  • Prise en charge ostéopathique des enfants présentant un Syndrome de Down, 1998, British osteopathic Journal ;
  • Une vision personnelle de la médecine énergétique, 2004, Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine ;

Nicholas Handoll, DO, graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1971. He has been working with Sutherland’s concept for 40 years and teaching for 30 years,

He has taught at the British School of Osteopathy, the European School of Osteopathy and the British College of Osteopathic Medicine and he has designed and directed a number of advanced courses.

In 1993 he co-founded the Sutherland Cranial College, the independent post-graduate educational institution for teaching the cranial concept to fully qualified osteopaths. He still teaches on College courses and has been instrumental in the development of the teaching of the cranial concept in this country.

  • A personal view on Energy Medicine, 2004, published in The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine ;
  • His book Anatomy of Potency an examination of quantum physics and how it can help us to understand who we are and the environment in which we live, was published in English in 2000, German in 2004 and will be published in French in 2012.

To help further our understanding of cranial osteopathy, Nicholas Handoll undertakes the challenge of distilling the current knowledge of quantum physics into a digestible form. Within this context he raises and attempts to answer the questions : What is reality ? What is sense perception ? and How do the two interact ? In the same spirit he also addresses many of the seeming incongruities and controversies in osteopathy in the cranial field.
